Fleet is a local-first application. Your prompts, responses, and conversation history stay on your machine. When you connect to LLM providers like OpenAI or Anthropic, you communicate directly with their APIs — we never see your prompts or responses.

What We Collect

Fleet collects anonymous usage telemetry to help us understand how the app is used and improve the product. This includes:

• Usage events — Actions like creating agents, sending messages, and using features
• Model and provider selections — Which AI providers and models you use
• Token counts — Input and output token usage (not the content)
• App version and platform — To understand compatibility needs

What We Don't Collect

• Prompts or responses — We never see what you send to or receive from AI providers
• File contents — Your workspace files and documents remain private
• Personal information — No names, emails, or identifying data from the app
• API keys — Your credentials are stored locally in your system keychain

Anonymous Identifier

Fleet generates a random, anonymous identifier stored locally on your device. This helps us understand usage patterns without identifying individual users. This ID is not linked to any personal information.

Feedback

If you use the optional feedback tool in the app, that information is sent to us along with your anonymous ID to help us respond and improve Fleet.
